I hate going away when it comes to my marriage. We obviously aren't so in love that we can't stand to be apart. I don't miss John terribly, as rotten as that may sound. I'm used to him not being there in one way or another. What makes it different when I am gone is the indifference when I come home. It's a face-slap type of reminder that I am not even worth asking what I did.
