My New Hair

I knew I would get a good portion taken off my hair when I went to get it cut last night, but I didn't really think about making a drastic change. That's what I did though. I decided to look through a book of hairstyles while I waited for my cousin to get her hair cut, and I found something I liked. I have to grow the front of my hair out a little more to really look like the picture, but I like the way it turned out nonetheless.

I don't think John is so pleased with the results. He likes long hair. I always think it's because of porn movies. In fact, one of the girls that goes to the band shows called my hair porn actress hair. Unfortunately, I didn't have porn actress boobs or porn actress body to go with the hair. At least John never complained about that.

My hair isn't short by any means. It still hits my shoulders. It's kind of cute and flippy, and I can still put it in a ponytail. The ratty split ends are gone, and my head feels lighter. When you have as big a head as I do, that makes a difference.

I really do have a big head. I've been measured for hats a couple times, and the results were the same both times, so I know it wasn't a fluke. I have an oversized melon of a head. All those one-size-fits-all hats? Don't fit. I had to get a large bike helmet. It's no wonder I'm not taller. I think my spine compacts a little more every day from having to support my great big noggin. I like to say my head is so big, because I have a very large brain. I'm also missing one of my sinus cavities, again, because my brain is just so immense. Too bad I don't use it all. I could be one smart cookie.

And speaking of cookies, I think I discovered a sinful treat. I found caramel filled chocolate chip cookies in the refrigerator section of the grocery store today. Like I'm not bad enough with the cookies, they had to go and put caramel in them. Yes, I bought some. I'm a very bad girl.
